Hello All!

I just wanted to send a quick reminder about an excellent upcoming event, our Third Annual SSTOP, THiNK, STAND for Human Rights Forum. Hope you can join us!

The Third Annual SSTOP, THiNK, STAND for Human Rights Forum: International Youth and Human Rights
Copley Formal Lounge, Wednesday, April 18, 7:30 pm

Join us for the third annual SSTOP, THiNK, STAND for Human Rights Forum, a panel about global human rights issues, and the liberties and challenges facing youth in the world today. Speakers will engage in a discussion covering topics ranging from human trafficking, Kony 2012, and the role of youth in the Arab Spring. This panel will feature notable speakers specializing in international health, peace and conflict resolution, and a human trafficking survivor, including: Sasha Lezhnev from The Enough Project, Professor Irene Jillson from Georgetown University, Scott Edwards from Amnesty International, and Shamere McKenzie from Shared Hope. The panel, moderated by Georgetown professor Marilyn McMorrow, is hosted by STAND, Truth and Human Rights in North Korea (THiNK), and Students Stopping the Trafficking of People (SSTOP). The event is free and open. Refreshments will be provided by Corp Catering.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns. Talk to you soon!

All the best,
Daniel
