Racial Attack

We feel very sorry for what happened to our member brother Ali Arshad. He was subjected to a violent attack outside a southside Brisbane restaurant and there is  a fear that he will be left blind in one eye. We pray to Allah both of his two eyes see the light soon.

Brother Ali was taking a rest outside Nandoï؟½s restaurant ï؟½when a group of at least seven men walked past him and allegedly swore and made racist comments, which he said he ignored. When the group returned a short time later, he was punched in the eye. Brother Ali was wearing his glasses at the time and one of the lenses smashed into his right eye, causing significant damage and requiring stitches.ï؟½

A police spokesman said officers had charged three men, aged 36, 21 and 20, with affray over the incident and they were due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on January 21ï؟½ read the full story on brisbanetimes.com.au
