Short report & some photos for the last Gumsa event

Dear Brothers/Sisters,

As-slam Alykum Warhmat Allah

On the 1st of May 2011 Muslim associations at both Griffith & QUT universities hold a BBQ gathering for their members on Kalgun Park, Kelvin Grove.

-A group of volunteers met early around 9am to organise the place & settle the marquis & the jumping castle and other stuff.

-Around 12 noon the guests have arrived and we engaged with each other and share the chat and laughter. A couple of kids’ games have been organised & kids also enjoyed playing on the jumping castle.

-At 2 Pm we started the BBQ & around 2:30 the BBQ was ready and guests enjoyed the lovely food

-We finished by 4 pm after a nice gathering with our members and their family. There were around 100 guests who joined us in this gathering. Attached some photos that been taken on that day.
