TCL C745: Hybrid MKV WEB-DL (DV Profile 5/8 + HDR10+) fallback to dark HDR10

Hi,

I am using ViMu Player on a TCL C745 TV (Google TV). I am experiencing a major bug with hybrid streaming MKV files (WEB-DL) that contain both Dolby Vision (Profile 5 or 8.1) and HDR10+ metadata tracks simultaneously (e.g., House of the Dragon).

The issue:
ViMu Player fails to trigger the Dolby Vision flag. Instead, it stubbornly falls back to basic HDR10. Because this TV processes HDR10 statically, the entire video becomes extremely dark and completely unwatchable.

Important notes:

Other players on the exact same TV (like Just Player and Nova Player) parse this file correctly and successfully trigger Dolby Vision with perfect brightness.

Audio passthrough for Dolby Atmos in ViMu works perfectly with this file, which is why I really want to stick with your app.

Disabling HDR10+ or trying different Dolby Vision profile conversion options inside ViMu settings does not help. The TV still stays in dark HDR10 mode.

File details / Name:
Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, Profile 8.1, dvhe.08.06, BL+RPU, no metadata compression, HDR10 compatible / SMPTE ST 2086, Version HDR10, HDR10 compatible

Please update the MKV parser/demuxer in the upcoming release to correctly prioritize and extract the Dolby Vision layer from these hybrid WEB-DL files on TCL MediaCodec.

There is Remove HDR+ option in Settings. Is it enabled?

It’s sideloaded version, i will buy full version but i am not sure it will help
