Hello,

I am having a problem playing my movies from my seagate external drive connected to my time capsule.  Vimu can see my external hard drive connected via wifi and connects but I get an error smbexception://10.0.1.15/SEAGATE/.  I can access other directories on the drive and open movies taken with my phone, but I can't access the directory with my movies.  I always get the smb exception when trying to access this directory.  I would greatly appreciate your help.  THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Are you sure, that access right on this directory are correct?

Did you try to access it over Windows PC?

Thank you very much for your reply.  Yes, I can access the directory over the PC.  It is very strange.  I have access to all the directories except for this one.  It keeps giving me the smb exception error.  This was not happening before.  I could not access the Play Store and I did upgrade the playstore app using the following procedure:  http://www.androidtvforum.com/threads/fix-for-inaccessible-play-store-and-rpc-errors-usually-after-hard-reset.10622/.  I had to upgrade since my GTV Player NSZ-GT1 could no longer access the Playstore.  But, as I mentioned earlier, I can access all other directories.

But which kind of exception do you have? Bad login/password?

The exception is mentioned in my first pos.  I can get into all my directories, but when I go to this directory it won't even show me what's in the directory.  I get an error stating "resource can not be displayed (SMB EXCEPTION://10.0.1.15.....).  This was never happening before.  Also, when I go into an another directory where I have images, I get this error "resource can not be displayed runtime null"

Windows is a quite strange thing. That is hard to say what could happen.

Did you try to create and share a different folder?

Yes.  Still not working.  I did a factory reset and now the app is not there.  I went to the play store and the Vimu app is not even in my list of apps.  If I search the app store it shows installed, which it is not.  And, now it is not listed in my apps to re-install.  This is pretty frustrating.  Going on for weeks.  Please help.  I sent you an email through your website, but I never received a reply.  Thank You!

Hi,

When did you send a message over the web site? I think I never received that (your today's message is there, however).

Please note, that Google TV platform is considered officially dead, so Google Play may not work at all. Many people complain about that.

There is nothing I can do with that.
