Chrome is totally not usable after 10 tabs open, versus Opera

I tried opening Facebook with 71 tabs. All are open and Chrome takes 1GB of memory.

This thread is hilarious...
In other news, firefox currently takes up 1GB and I only have ~10 tab
opens. I'm on Shimon's side, and I'm installing IE6 as I type this.

Actually, as a taboholic, I must say that chrome is one of the most
powerful browsers I've worked with, ever.
I usually work with something like 50-100 tabs open on my work
computer. And it rocks.
Of course, I have 8 gigs of RAM for that. If you have less RAM you
might experience slower performance, and pagefile increase.
FireFox can handle only around 40-50 tabs on my personal computer and
crashes after a few hours.
Chrome is stable like a rock.

If only Chrome had a Master Password, I'd switch to it for all my
personal stuff too.

Conclusion: Disable Facebook Chat, it sucks in a multi-tab
scenario. :)

So i guess you're not suffering from Tabitis, lucky you ;-)

'Chrome for a Cause' started because of this ability:
http://google.com/chrome/intl/en/p/cause/
I wish the Chrome team would revive it sometime soon.
