Great! I would also like to help in organizing GTUG events here in UP Diliman.

I've been following some of the discussions in the main GTUG mailing list, and I think a core group of students could do the same for their respective schools

Hi Miko,

That's the idea. For UP undergrad, Mikko Gozalo has volunteered. He actually organized a mapping party in GenSan during the Christmas break and has been quite active attending Google events.

Maybe you'd like to make a follow-up on Rom's proposal to have an Android meet-up at UP on February 20? Or maybe the next Saturday. Migs said he is willing to come and Charo also lives nearby UP.

I'd like to volunteer as well. I've been using Google Apps for a year now for my course work (Google App Engine, Google Web Toolkit) and have been hitting on Google APIs. 

Would love to meet new Google Apps users and compare notes.

Great to hear you are using Apps. I think it's an awesome service by Google. Would be great if you guys from UP can have coffee and plan out some activities. :)

Yeah, I think we can easily coordinate with one another since we're just under the same department (me and Jeune belong to the same lab). We'll ask Sir Rom about the planned Android meet-up, though Feb. 20 might be an unlikely date because there's a CS Alumni Homecoming during that day. But we'll see, maybe it can be done on an earlier or a slightly later date.

I hope more will join the team :)

We have Miko, Jeune and Ruzette for UP Diliman. Ruzette used to be the Sun Campus Ambassador - she has plenty of experience in handling events for technologies. :)
