Hi,
I am organizing 2010 DFW Cloud Computing Seminar @ Cohabitat on Oct.
2nd, Saturday, from 9:30 - 3:30.
See:
http://2010-cloud-computing-seminar.eventbrite.com/
This year's topics are:
1. Cloud Computing as a sustainable infrastructure
2. Managing the cloud, e.g. in conjunction with the business process,
cost drivers, and security, etc.
3. Information harvesting from the cloud, making most from the data
4. Bridging the cloud with the classical IT models
And, a number of leading companies are presenting at the seminar,
including Amazon, Rails Engine Yard, and the very groovy DFW based
Memory Reel.
The event is free. And, there will be some give-aways, including Jeff
Barr's book "Host Your Web Site in the Cloud", T-shirts, and some
credit on Rails Engine Yard and Amazon.
Lunch will be provided as well.
This a great time for you to network with fellow Cloud Users, sharing
tips and ideas.
Of course, if you have some cool apps to showoff, this is a great
venue for just that.
At last, I will demo my very own project - Project Parl8-vo.us, a very
groovy open-source app for externalizing Salesforce data and talking
to Chatter.
So, don't hesitate and sign up for the free event, get some free
souvenir, and a great time.
best,
-Ray
