About the various job spam we get on the GTUG list

Are any members finding these posts useful? If yes, then we can perhaps ignore these.

Otherwise, we should ask the moderators (Badri?) to either ban such folks, or to turn on moderation.

These guys are spamming us. Lets ban them. It can be a trick to capture your personal details like date of birth, phone number etc. In order to access some govt data by impersonating you. Or they could be selling your details to someone.. Has anyone noticed that these guys do not have a landline number? That makes these folks Very dangerous. 

By chance, if the jobs are genuine, they can be posted on linkedin. But not here.

We have built this wonderful community for our members to share technical knowledge with others. As community has raised voice against spamming their mailbox with un-solicited job alerts; we are banning some members who has been doing so in recent past. 

Before sending an email to this large group (1300+) members, Please do think twice

- Is this email relevant to this group?

- Am I spamming others?

- May be I can post something on Facebook & tag this group. 

Please feel free to bring our attention, when something is not right. We do not want to have stringent controls on community - as its driven by you for each one of you.
