Temp.serv.failure

Hi Alec


I have Gtrack up and running perfectly on my site, I am now trying to
get my phone to report, it is a java phone and the software is
installed correctly on the phone. If I set the url to
demo.gtrack.co.uk I get incorrect login details which is correct.
However when I set the unit up for my site www.tracking.igpt.com.my, I
constantly get temp.serv. failure. I have tried tracking.igpt.com.my,
www.tracking.igpt.com.my.

I have set the phone up for Locatea as well and here there is no
issue, so I am sure it has something to do with my server, any advice.

Hi

First thing is to make sure you 100% READ the install instructions :-)

Ignoring any of the instructions isn't a good idea... for example, you
haven't changed one of the connection database strings, thus when your
phone is trying to send updates, your site fails because it can not
connect to the database and save the data.

Once you have fixed this, you should use tracking.igpt.com.my as the
URL in the software, not www.

Hi Alec

You are correct my bad, I left out the connect.php... Thanks for the
advice.
