Hello!

My name is Bill Downs. I am a certified beer judge, a writer for the Brewing News, a homebrewer, an AHA member and a blogger. [www.homebrewingnews.com]

I have put together a book of stories that are, in one way or another, all beer related.  I have started a Kickstarter campaign featuring my book and some pretty nifty art.

Let me tell you about the book!

There are stories about breweries that started long ago such as Guiness and Spoltz.  There are stories about great brewers from the past such as Gabrielle Seldmayr and Anton Dreyher.

There is a chapters about great inventors such as Richard Cornelius, John Sankey, and even people you never heard of such as Joseph Owades who had a HUGE impact on beer industry but you never heard their names.

There are even stories of beer history like the great porter flood of 1814, the Wheatland hop riots, and many, many more.

There are even stories like the one contributed by an archeologist that tells of his efforts to re-create the beer made by the ancient Anasazi people.

Please check out my Kickstarter page at this link:

Thank you for checking out my project
