Dear all,

as announced, I would like to organize a special issue of the journal Acta Futura (http://www.esa.int/gsp/ACT/publications/ActaFutura/) on the Kessler run.

All registered teams are invited to submit their contribution by October the 1st, 2017. Papers from teams that scored below 1200 MEUR in the final leaderboard will not be subject to a full peer-review as their performance speak for itself. Their papers will be accepted on the basis of the quality of the manuscript logic and consistency. If your team scored above 1200 MEUR you can still submit your paper and the reviewers will be asked to also judge on the novelty of the contribution to the field.

The teams who already wrote a contribution for the ISTS/ISSFD workshop can base their submission on that work.

All papers (tex files and pdf) should be sent to the address actafutura _AT_ esa.int with dario.izzo _AT_ esa.int on copy. Please follow the journal guidelines reported below:

The final production files need to be written in latex (no other forms will be accepted), modifying the LaTEx template provided. The use of BibTex is required. The use of the following packages is to be avoided: tikz, subfigure, subfig, pstricks, psfrag. In general, the use of additional packages is deprecated. All images have to be either pdf, eps or png. All files have to be submitted in zip archive as to avoid UTF-8 compatibility issues. Only the strictly necessary files need to be submitted, i.e no .bbl, .aux .tmp, unused figures etc.

I am looking forward to receiving your contributions,

Dario Izzo

P.S. manuscript and presentations for the ISTS/ISSFD/NSAT special session in Japan are now available at https://sophia.estec.esa.int/gtoc_portal/?page_id=847. A few are still missing and will hopefully be added as soon as received.
