A video game tester's salary, like any other self-employed job, is
directly associated by how much work he puts into his job. A video
game tester has to work their hardest on their job, or else they won't
see the major profits start pouring in.
To put it simply, the harder and more efficient you work, the more you
get paid.
Don't get me wrong, playing video games are fun and enjoyable, but
there is a time for play and there is a time for work. The most
hardest task for every video game tester is to find that line between
playing and working. Once you can find that line, the money will
follow. So before you start thinking that being a video game tester is
just going to be a walk in the park, I highly advise that you take a
step back and realize that your getting into a job.
As a video game tester, it is HIGHLY possible that you can create more
than $100 of dollars every hour, but only if you work hard and your
determined to get that money. Once your determined and your able to
work your hardest, seeing that $100 every hour can happen to you every
day.
So how can you start becoming a better video game tester? Start
playing games that you already have and try to look for things that
you find annoying in the game. Can you find any? No? Well that means
that the video game testers of that game did a great job in finding
those bugs and glitches. That is what you have to do. Find those
glitches.
So go out and start playing the games you own. Find those glitches,
become an expert at it, then write a summary about it. Once your done,
you'll find yourself one step closer to a better video game tester.
