For
   pod 'gtm-oauth2'

I am permanently getting the following error:

[!] /usr/bin/svn export --non-interactive --trust-server-cert --force http://gtm-http-fetcher.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ -r 141 /var/folders/2v/zkq52_6d3p9gmntnq0z2_fkh0000gn/T/d20160709-50624-27qpgd

svn: E160013: Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'http://gtm-http-fetcher.googlecode.com/svn/trunk'

svn: E160013: 'http://gtm-http-fetcher.googlecode.com/svn/trunk' path not found

Does it mean that the project was canceled and everybody should move to Google Sign-In SDK as suggested via the link below?

Nope, it means that's a CocoaPod we never owned/controlled.  The one we manage/publish is also checked in: GTMOAuth2

Oops, sorry, haven't had my coffee.  Since you posted on the gtm-oauth2 group, I was thinking that was the one you wanted.

If you are using google-api-objectivec-client-for-rest, that pod (GoogleAPIClientForREST) will use the https://github.com/google/gtm-session-fetcher not the older http-fetcher.

But to also have auth, you'll want GTMOAuth2 like the wiki mentions (https://github.com/google/google-api-objectivec-client-for-rest/wiki/BuildingTheLibrary#cocoapods)
