I have a client that is getting 403 errors... with a verified
persistenceResponseString

Lion?

Try turning on http logging and inspect the request/response logs.

You'll still need a log of the request and response headers and bodies to figure out what is going wrong, or to show to the service provider.

The OSAX messages are unlikely to be related.

I wrote a quick little app that just uses GTMOauth to logIn to
Twitter. For this user, running Mac 10.7.3 (after combo updater) Lion
on an iMac...

Again, this app is just logging in to Twitter. These are the same
errors I'm getting with the purchased App for this user.

Baffled by, "Adobe", "OSAX", and "wrong architecture".

I have successfully run this little utility app on other Lion machines
and well as 10.6 machines.

Auth and mAuth were successful and a persistenceResonseString was
created.

The request header is seen at 23:17:17,742

I'm very perplexed. I cannot duplicate this problem on other
machines.

Note the 403 error from Twitter.... 403 Forbidden: The server
understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it.
