Safe & Sane News/Volunteer Opportunity

 

·         All parents are welcome to attend the next Safe & Sane Committee meeting this coming Tuesday, Nov. 8, starting at 7 PM.  The meeting will take place in the school’s media center.

·         We need volunteers to work in the in-door concession stand and sell flowers during the state cheerleading competition.  TJHS is hosting this competition on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 1-4 PM.  We would appreciate any help you can provide.

·         Senior t-shirts are now on sale.  The front design, selected via Senior vote, reads:

Senior Pictures:  $500

Class Ring:  $250

Cap and Gown:  $40

Never coming back:  PRICELESS!

and the back design will contain the names of our Seniors.  New this year: a special t-shirt for parents!  Order forms are available at the Safe and Sane Web site, www.tjsafeandsane.org.  The Nov. school newsletter will also contain one.  Deadline for orders:  Nov. 28.  The t-shirt would make a great holiday gift for your senior . . . and for you too!

·         There’s still time to order a White House Christmas Ornament.  Order forms are available on the Safe and Sane Web site.  Deadline for orders:  Nov. 18. 

·         Thanks to the following individuals who will chair a subcommittee:  Madonna Vitarello (carnival games), Mandie Sponyoe (decorations), Lori and Jeff Houck (food), Greg Baird (security), Lori Houck (thank you notes) and Jen Frank and Sally Sanino (tickets).  We still have a couple of committees that need chairs.  Please contact cmen...@verizon.net or sca...@frederick.edu for details.
