Buses, Volunteers & More

 

Safe & Sane is less than three weeks away.  Here’s what you need to know:

 

1)    The committee has reserved 4 FCPS buses to take students back to TJHS after the party.  Students will arrive at the school at approximately 5:45 AM on 6/5.  NOTE:  Students MAY NOT leave their cars in the TJHS parking lot over night; therefore, please make arrangements to pickup your graduate.  Also, parking is very limited at the Mount.  E-mail tjsafe...@gmail.com if your student plans to ride a bus. 

 

2)    We need poker/black jack card dealers, casino and arcade attendants, referees, and food servers.  There’s plenty to do and not enough hands to do it.  Visit SignUpGensis and be part of the fun.  We especially need help from the parents of juniors to pick up food in Frederick and deliver it to the Mount.  Questions?  E-mail bjf...@comcast.net.

 

3)    We need pretzel/snack plastic barrels for raffle tickets.  Contact cmen...@verizon.net if you have any.

 

4)    It’s not too late to purchase a ticket to the biggest party of the year.  Tickets are $30 a student and are available online at www.tjsafeandsane.org.  Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door.  Get your senior’s ticket before it’s too late!

 

5)    Finally, despite all our fundraising throughout the year, funding for prizes is not were we hoped it would be.  Please consider making a monetary donation to GTJHS Safe and Sane, Inc., 1501 N. Market Street, Frederick, MD 21701.  Donations can also be made online at www.tjsafeandsane.org.
