This is one in a series of emails I'm forwarding to the new GTFS Flexible Transit Working Group. These emails make up the initial conversation that led to the creation of the working group. I'm sending them with permission of the original senders for archival purposes, allowing new participants to the conversation to get up to speed.

Cool. Hearing no objections to the term "Flexible", I changed the Google Doc so the name of the proposed group is "GTFS Flexible Transit Working Group". I made a few other refinements:
Note that I took it upon myself to call the group "GTFS Flexible Transit Working Group" instead of "GTFS Flexible Services Working Group" because I thought it had a much nicer ring, even though this is redundant to the "Transit" in the GTFS initialism.
Let me know if anyone has objections.
