Hi everyone,
Now that the dust has settled from last week’s GTFS workshop, I wanted to be in touch with a few points and updates.
First of all, thanks so much to everyone who was able to take time out of their schedule to participate in the workshop, either in person or remotely – especially to everyone who delivered presentations or moderated sessions. We really valued the chance to learn from everyone’s perspectives and experiences in different contexts, and we appreciated your level of engagement throughout the day.
Here are a few things to follow-up:
1. I’ve uploaded a few things to the workshop website. On the site, you’ll find links to:
2. This is a friendly reminder to sign up to a couple of relevant Google Groups, if you haven’t already:
3. Another reminder: if you haven’t had a chance to read through the draft proposals that Neil wrote up, please take a look and share comments you might have, and do start updating your feeds. Link is here.
4. Thanks to Shin-pei Tsay, the director of research and development at TransitCenter, who’s graciously offered to organize a GTFS event at TRB in January and to begin putting together a GTFS resource center. Shin-pei will be following up via the Google Groups, so look for her message soon.
Thanks again for making this event a success, and we look forward to seeing you again in the future.
Best,
Emily, Sarah, Jackie, and Holly
