GTDA is offering Swing Dance Classes!

Hi everyone,

GTDA is now offering Swing Classes on Sundays this semester, Jan 27 - April 7 in the Student Center Ballroom.  And if you register for one of the class series, then the next 3 dances (with live bands) during Spring semester will be free and a great way to show off your new skills :)

These classes are all about triple-time swing as it has been danced for years and taught by professional dance instructors, Kenny Livingston and Kerry Frost. You'll learn a variety of cool moves that can be performed to many music styles. Participants will rotate partners during this class, so it is not necessary to sign up for this class with a partner.

Beginner Series Class: 4:00pm-5:00pm
Intermediate Series Class: 5:15pm-6:15pm

Classes are held on Sundays from January 27 through April 7, with no classes on February 24 (Enter the Blues is using the ballroom), March 17, and March 24 (Spring Break). 

Cost per Series:
$40 for Students (only $5/hour of lesson)
$50 for Faculty/Alumni
$60 for General
Free Admission to the February, March, and April GTDA Dances with swing class registration

You can pay on our website or by cash/check at the door on Sunday.  ATMs are on the first floor of the Student Center.
