Dear GTBDC Members,
As we have welcome many lovely new dancers this year, a larger group is expected to go to the CDC competition. This is a great news except for one little problem: the lack of van drivers
. Usually we rent a van from CRC, but to be able to drive a GT vehicle one must take a training class, which includes two steps: 1. take an online tutorial for Defensive Driving. 2. take a two-hour Van-Safety class. Currently we only have Drew as a qualified van driver, so the club really needs your help~

If you have other questions or concerns, also feel free to let me know. Your help is truly appreciated.
BTW, taking a defensive driving course might reduce your insurance rate by 10%! So even if you don't drive this time you can take the opportunity to complete the training.

Hope everyone enjoy your spring break! As Gena mentioned in her previous email, GTBDC is looking for an experienced driver to take the competition group to Charlotte at the end of April. Currently we only have one qualified driver, Drew. I was supposed to take this task, but there's a conflict with the schedule of my thesis proposal.
So I strongly suggest you to contact Gena or me if you want to attend the competition and you are qualified for driving vans. It is also a great opportunity to take tour of the beautiful city Charlotte. We really appreciate your help.
