Hi, I purchased the full version of this software from the 3rd part
app store, but the Android App store keeps telling me to upgrade to
the free version. is there anyway to turn off updates for this
software in the android app store? it's kind of irritating.

I believe the update notification is coming from Android Market not AndAppStore.

I'm not sure if you can turn off update notifications from Android Market.

Yeah, that would be great if we could get an updated version from AndAppStore so Market leaves us alone. I also bought the product and am happy with it, but annoyed at the notification.

Thank you in advance.

I think, that changing name for full version could help, Android
Market now thinks that this 2 apps are the same because of name I
think :) but I'm not a developer :)

I'm also hoping that the Android Market will stop giving false update
notices to the free version. I would like to see the developer
publish a specific solution/timetable to address this.

Also, will the AndAppStore provide notices of updates to the paid
version? It's not clear to me that the store has this capability.

AndAppStore will notify you of updates and offer you the opportunity to download them.

Regards,

Al.

Thank you Al. Do we know if developer and/or AndAppStore people are
posting in this group?

Peter, are you the developer? If so can you let us know when you can
put a fix in place that will stop Android Market from prompting us to
"upgrade" back to the free version? Someone suggested it's as simple
as re-naming the free version different than the pro version. True?

Peter, thanks for all your efforts. I received the key by email,
downloaded it to my Droid, installed it, and then upgraded gtasks in
Android Market. Everything's working fine, so I guess [Free version]
+ [Key] = [Paid Version], correct?

Also, it says I'm running "Version 93". Is that the most current
version?
