GTA Student Directory

Parents, since we have had less than 25% of student participation in
the GT Academy student directory it does not make sense to have it
printed and distributed at this time. I think there may have been some
misperception that if you filled out a contact sheet for Mr. Jones
that he would be sharing that information with the parent booster
club. He is not able to do so. Sooo, if you have not e-mailed me to
send your contact info, then your child is not in the directory
currently. Previously I had been e-mailing out a copy of the database
on a monthly basis to only those who had sent me their information so
a lot of folks weren't sure if their child was even in the director.

So I have made an executive decision and have created the database in
Google Docs online so that everyone can access the latest version of
the directory database and make changes to their information, add
themselves, delete info, etc. This file can ONLY be accessed by
clicking on the link
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmFrYyxPnIFSdEVyMkM1VnlCOW1RYnYyY0JDcHlDZVE&hl=en_US#gid=0.
This file is not searchable on the internet so your contact
information will not be shared with anyone who does not have access to
this link, and presumably only parents of GTA students will have this
access. Please feel free to reduce or remove your information from the
directory if this is of concern to you.

PLEASE check to see if your child is in the directory and if not,
please add their name and as much contact information as you are
willing to share under the appropriate page of the spreadsheet which
is divided by grade. You should see the tabs for "5th grade", "6th
grade" and so on at the bottom of the spreadsheet. All changes are
saved as you go. Give everyone a few days to inspect and update their
information and then everyone can print their own copy of this
directory. Please feel free to contact me, however, if you are having
trouble or have a question.

Thanks for setting up the directory. I was under the impression that
the form filled out at the first meeting at Sab was given for the
directory. So thank you for clarifying.
