Hi parents,

We are interested in hiring a private math tutor (or sharing one) or
enrolling our son in a math enrichment program that really does
provide one-on-one instruction. He is not struggling with any one
thing specifically, he just continues to make a number of careless
errors with some basic math functions and comprehension that
constantly trip him up. I think he could definately benefit from
receiving instruction beyond the daily assistance we provide with
homework. I would love to know what some of you are doing to sharpen
your kids' math skills. Thanks!

Angela,

We subcibe to a website, www.ixl.com, it is a math practice site that
provides prctice on any math topic. It also keeps track of what they
practice and take test on ans send you an email of progress.Of he has
difficulty, then he and I youtube just how to do the problem and we
practice. It seems to work for us.
