Playing opportunity for GTA string musicians

It’s time to get out the rosin and play some scales to get ready for the experience of playing in a string orchestra at String Orchestra TO.
We are welcoming enthusiastic, amateur, intermediate and advanced string players, for September 10, 2025. Join us to develop your skills and your joy in playing classical string repertoire.
We are a non-auditioned orchestra and still have places in the violin and viola sections for the Fall.
Rehearsals will be held at St Barnabas Church in their Upper Hall (an accessible space) at 361 Danforth Avenue. Chester subway is 3 minutes away and there is nearby Green P and street parking in the neighbourhood.
The season runs from September 10, 2025, until May 20, 2026, on Wednesday evenings from 7:15-9:15 pm with no rehearsals over the December holidays and the March school break.
