Strings Attached Orchestra

Strings Attached Orchestra is recruiting multiple violas, basses, and potentially violins for the remainder of our season leading up to our June 28 final concert. Repertoire includes Mahler's Adagietto from Symphony No. 5, Copland's Hoe Down from Rodeo, Strauss' Blue Danube waltzes, Bartók's Rumanian Folk Dances, Piazzolla tangos, and more treats.

Rehearsals are Mondays 7-9pm at Earl Bales Community Centre (off Bathurst and Sheppard); Tuesdays after a long weekend. No audition required: come sit in for a rehearsal or two and see how you fit in and how much fun we have! We pride ourselves on great reviews for both our musicality and our welcoming community. As a charitable organization, our work is meaningful for our people, with most of our performances taking place in community settings such as retirement homes and schools. And students are absolutely welcome to inquire about joining!
