TCO seeking 1st trumpet

Hello everyone,

The Toronto Community Orchestra is seeking a first trumpet who is comfortable with playing solo parts to join its membership starting January 2026..

We are a friendly and enthusiastic group of primarily amateur musicians of all backgrounds and professions from across Toronto.  Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30pm in the east end of Toronto near Greenwood subway station. We hold two concerts each season, also on Tuesday evenings.

Our repertoire for fall 2025 includes the following: 

• Symphony 9 "from the New World", 4th mvmt (Dvorak),
• Danzon No. 2 (Marquez),
• Lover's Dance (Naseri),
• Highlights from Wicked (Schwarz),
• Overture to The Wreckers (Smyth),
• All Things Bright and Beautiful (Spohr),
• The Little Match Girl (Tors),
• Jurassic Park (Williams),.
• A Festive Overture (Shostakovich).,
• Christmas Festival (Anderson),
• Christmas Calypso (Bulla).
