Dear Aviation Colleague,
A J Walter Aviation Bursary 2012
Deadline 31st
October 2012
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about the A J Walter Aviation Bursary for the academic year 2012/13. This year we are inviting all students worldwide to
apply for the bursary award to study the MSc in Aircraft Maintenance Management by City University, London. This is due to the increasing amount of interest we have had since we started our Bursary programme in 2007, so we have now decided to put no limitations
on who can apply. Therefore we hope to appeal to a broader spread of students in established and start-up airlines around the globe. We have already been contacted by potential students from as far
apart as South Africa and Kazakhstan and look forward to receiving many more enquiries.
I would therefore like to kindly ask you to consider a candidate from within your organisation who would benefit from this excellent course and compete for the 2012 AJW Bursary,
details of which can be found by clicking here.
Course modules can be taken in London, Dubai, Bahrain or Cologne.
AJW has been supporting the MSc in Aircraft Maintenance Management for five years and previous winners and runners up have come from Air Algerie, Emirates, Czech Airlines,
Ethiopian Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, Air Moldova and Airbus Operations. The bursary provides funding for two thirds of the total course fee.
As I am sure you will agree, a high standard of education and training is crucial if we are to ensure aviation industry professionals are equipped with the skills needed to handle complex technical
and operational challenges. It is also important for organisations to support educational initiatives if they are to attract high calibre candidates and play a part in their career progression.
Together with your team and our colleagues within the aviation industry around the World, City University and AJW endeavour to combine people, skills, solutions and infrastructure
within aviation maintenance to deliver excellence at every level.
I do hope you are able to pass this information on to at least one or two talented individuals within your organisation who may be interested in using this opportunity to
improve themselves and by doing so, be in a position to more effectively contribute to your company.
Yours sincerely
