First Meeting Today at 4:45pm in CCB 017 - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

Welcome back everyone!!! And HELLO to new friends!!!!!

I'll try to keep this short, but there's a lot of information to share with y'all. PLEASE make sure to at least read the final bit about moving to a new email management system.

Logistics:

Location: CCB room 017 is our new home. CCB (College of Computing Building) is the red brick building that is connected to Klaus via the fancy bridge.

Time: Fridays, 4:45pm - 5:45pm (this meeting may run longer, though)

This is the first meeting of the semester, please be cognizant that there will be a lot of people attending, so try to show up early. There is no guarantee for everyone to get a seat or snacks, and recording attendance will take a bit of time. Please be understanding if it's cramped, we can't control this!

VGDev always has lots to show off to the world, but only has one person in charge of PR. Right now this is Sarah Tsai, and she's asking for "2-3 people to create digital + print content to support our plan of world domination". NEW EMAILING SYSTEM - ENGAGE

If you're not already signed up with us on Engage, Georgia Tech's new replacement for OrgSync.

We currently sending e-mails via a very inflated, very outdated Google Groups list that we would like to retire from using. For at least this meeting, I will send e-mails via this list and the one through Engage to give people time to join, but after this week, they will only be sent through Engage. I will also repeat this during the meeting.

Hopefully I haven't forgotten anything major, but if I did, I will send a follow up email in the following few days.
