Hey, VGDev!
Welcome (back) to campus! I hope the summer has been great for everyone. My name's Alex Huynh, and I'm the current Speaker (or 'president') of Tech's Video Game Development Club, or VGDev.
This is the club that's all about making and finishing video games, no matter what your experience level is, and on an entirely volunteer basis. If you wanna have fun making games, you've found the right club!
Our weekly meetings start this Friday, the 21st, in Klaus 2443 and go from 4:45 to 5:45pm.
During this first meeting, we'll go over what we are and what we do; we'll hear a talk from former Speaker Matthew Guzdial on how to make a great VGDev game; and we'll hear the first project pitches for the semester!
The semester is gonna be awesome. We're looking forward to seeing you this Friday!
-Alex
