Collegiate Club Administrators –

Reminder that we are two weeks out from the 2014 USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championships in Tempe, AZ on April 4th & 5th. Please review the Participation List to see if you have already registered.

REGISTRATION CLOSES ON MARCH 28th. Please ensure that you and your athletes register before this date.

You can find registration information in the attachments, as well as eligibility forms and the USAT Collegiate Rulebook.

This year’s registration is protected by passwords. Please share the following passwords with your club athletes:

  • Olympic-distance: CNCOLY14
  • Draft-Legal: CNCDL14
  • Mixed Team Relay: CNCMTR14

Only clubs who have renewed USAT Official Club status in 2014 will be eligible to register. If you have questions on club renewal, please contact cl...@usatriathlon.org.

PLEASE NOTE: If your club is sending a school check, please ensure it arrives early next week so we have time to process and your athletes can register. Let us know if you are sending a school check so we can look for these.

In addition to the registration steps, you must submit the following to your respective Collegiate Conference Coordinator:

  • Club Roster: This must include all athletes competing at Collegiate Nationals. It can either list just athletes competing for your school, or all athletes on the roster throughout the year.
  • Eligibility Form: Each student must show their full-time student status through sign-off from your university registrar’s or bursar’s office. You can complete and submit the attached Eligibility Form, or use something similar from your school that notes your student status.
  • Conference Race Participation: You must have competed in one or more Collegiate Conference events prior to Collegiate Nationals. Your Conference Commissioner will track this information, and any questions should be directed to them. An athlete can request an exemption through the Conference Commissioner.
  • Requests: If there are any requests for Wave 1 allocation or Draft-Legal start, please contact the Conference Commissioner.

If there are any questions on club status with USAT, please email cl...@usatriathlon.org.

Registration questions can be directed to regist...@usatriathlon.org.

Please reach out to the Collegiate Committee/Collegiate Conference Coordinator with any questions on conference happenings. Information can be found at the Collegiate Clubs webpage.

Final item: If you know anyone interested in volunteering at Collegiate Nationals, please direct them to the Volunteer Link. We greatly appreciate you sharing volunteer information with family and friends.

Thanks,

Melissa

Do we need to worry about submitting the paperwork to our Collegiate Conference Commissioner, or are you doing that?  The phrasing of the email makes it sound like an individual requirement when it says, "Each student must show their full-time student status," but the form attached to the email is clearly designed so that a university representative can sign off on everybody at once.
