The age limit has been lifted! See details below and tell your old guys the good news.

The collegiate committee has voted to remove the age restriction at collegiate nationals and grant all full-time students who otherwise meet the eligibility criteria the opportunity to race.

The hallmark of the Collegiate Nationals is the unique atmosphere and energy from club competition which unites athletes on all spectrums from skilled to beginner.  With this change we will no longer discriminate based upon age improving team cohesion, allow for consistency with conference omnium racing, and satisfy the existing inclusion requirements of many club sports programs.  Additionally, this will now provide military veterans, civil service, and religious mission individuals who delay entrance to college the opportunity to race.

One of the proposed changes this past weekend was to get rid of the 28 age limit for racing at Nationals and at the conference level. It has been approved by the Commissioners and now is on to the National Board for a vote.

What I need to know is how many people this affects in our Conference. Please inform me how many people this change would affect in your club and what their status is. (grad student, military, etc...)
