Syncing with multiple user accounts?

I'm having an odd problem. My Google calendar shows all my events, but
iCal shows an empty calendar.
After playing around for a few weeks, GCal now has multiples of almost
all my events - it seems GSync has doubled them up at each sync.
I have it set for normal sync, and thought about having iCal override
GCal - but doing so now would delete all my old calendar data.

The only thought that's come to mind is that we do have two users on
our computer, with each Mac account using GSync to sync up to a
different GCal. I couldn't find anything saying GSync did not support
this, but I suspect it might not. Syncing seems to work OK with the
other account...

Can anyone confirm or deny?

And if it does work with multiple users, can anyone suggest what might
be going wrong?
