The emails that I've seen recently re the SEA conference graduate
student scholarship and re the AEA submission deadline reminde me that
people have talked about having a conference page on this google
group. I've now started it and put info about conferences I know
about on there. Add and edit as you see fit!

A note for all who are considering the grad student sessions at the
SEA conference. I did this in 07, and I'm not sure how it will work
this time, but I got stuck in the very last session on the very last
day (all of the grad sessions were at this time). Only about 5 people
came to the session, so don't expect a lot of feedback. It was still
a cool experience, but I was a little disappointed about the timing of
the sessions.

To piggyback on that: depending on your area and whatnot, it might be a good thing to present in the regular sessions at SEA rather than the grad student sessions.  A number of us did this last year, and I think everyone's had good experiences.  On the other hand, it always looks nice on the CV to have won a scholarship for something...

Howdy all, I just made some small updates to the conference page and I
wanted to remind everyone to update the page as you learn about
conferences that may be of interest to others... and don't forget to
submit your abstracts to the conferences you want to go to, because
the deadlines are fast approaching for some of them!

environmental economists. Other stuff may have been updated since the

Don't forget to update this page as you get information about
