Dear Sir,

I am dealing with unregistered partnership firm.  Now they have registered under GST.  Can we treat the firm as registered partnership firm as per law.  other wise again they have to registered with registrar of firms

Dear Mr. Srinivas,

Any person who having valid GST registration number, obtained under the provision of GST ACT, 2017 is a registered person.

So in your case you need not to check the status with the registrar of firm, you can check the following:-

Firm's Pan Card

Partnership Deed

GST Registration Certificate quoting PAN NUMBER AND FIRM'S LEGAL NAME
