Dear all,

We're excited to have you join our online panel discussion on "Math for All: Bridging the Gap Between Abstract Theory and Undergraduate Curiosity." which is part of the event Celebrating Women in Mathematics on 12th of May, 24' as a part of the global 'May 12 initiative'. Participants of all genders are welcome.

 

Date: May 12, 2024
Time: 4:00pm to 5:30pm

The panel discussion will cover a range of topics, including:

1. Abstraction: Exploring ways to make abstract theories more accessible to undergraduates.

2. Gender Issues: Discussing gender-related challenges and potential solutions.

3. Mentorship: Highlighting the importance of mentorship in overcoming challenges.
4. Engaging with Math Research: Balancing foundational knowledge with staying updated on research prospects for MS thesis topics. Emphasizing the value of attending seminars even if immediate takeaways are limited.

Please note that most part of the discussion will be relevant for a diverse audience and not only for the people in the field of mathematics and we encourage you to submit the questions you have for our panelists.

We value your input and perspective, and your questions will shape the discussion and ensure that we address topics that are of interest to you.
