Starting Categorical K-theory

We are pleased to invite you to join us for the next part of our series, K-theory in totality. This part will focus on categorical K-theory, a branch that studies the K-theories of abstract categories. Visit: https://gstmath.in/categorical-k-theory/ .

The first section of this part, titled "K-theory of algebraic categories", will explore the K-theory of categories of algebraic nature. In this section we will focus on two particular types of algebraic categories namely Monoidal and Abelian categories and see how to do K-theory for them. The first lecture of this section is scheduled for 22nd April at 03:00 PM IST via Zoom. The link and password will be sent to you by email before the lecture. You are highly encouraged to attend these lectures, as along with the subject matters, they bring in fresh new ideas as to how to categorify certain ordinary concepts.
