[gssc-pool] opening night/important safety reminder

The wait is over! The pool opens tonight at 6pm.  Come enjoy a great bbq hosted by the GSSC Board while supplies last!

 

A reminder of some important rules for your safety:

 

Non-swimmers must stay where they can comfortably stand with his or her head above water,within reach of their parent or guardian.  Each Child under 10 years old must be attended at all times by a parent or guardian unless the child has passed the swim test.

Swim test includes:
1. Swim one length of the pool

2. Tread water for 3 minutes

3. Back/Front float for 1 minute

Lifeguards administer the swim test upon request and based on their availability.
