Greetings GSSC members!

The board wants to remind everyone that this Sunday is the first work party of the season.  If you want to avoid paying the $75 maintenance fee, then plan on showing up to either of the upcoming work parties.

We'll get the ball rolling on 9:00 AM and wrap-up around 3:00 PM.  What to bring you ask?  Bring along any and all tools you can muster, such as: typical yard/gardening tools, shovels, rakes, trimmers, ladders, buckets, cleaning brushes and any other tool or supplies you want to bring.  The club will provide basic cleaning supplies, like sponges, scouring pads, Simple Green, 409, glass cleaner and the like.

We'll also be assigning people to paint the inside of the snack shack, so please bring painting supplies if you have them (pan, rollers, drop cloth, etc).

Since this is the first work party, our goal will be to do a "general clean-up" of the facility and grounds.  So this means cleaning/weeding the beds, cleaning the buildings inside and out and getting everything out of storage and cleaned up.  The next work party (May 7th), we'll focus on planting flowers and doing a final "spruce up" to get everything looking good for the opening.

Lastly, thanks to the NUMEROUS people who contacted me to take on the pressure washing detail.  Close to 20 people inquired about the job shortly after the email was sent out.  Who knew pressure washing would be so popular!

Questions or thoughts?  Feel free to email or call me.

Thanks!
