Done. Last thing I wanted to do was give you samples at 11:59pm tonight! Really short schedule, we need this submitted by Wednesday or earlier.

Here are my proposed comps.

Sample 1: (left design)  I feel like this has a sleek look and feel. Very easy to read and its broken down in a single line. "Golden State of Mind" below it totally compliments the header copy. The italicized look gives it a athletic feel, very simple and easy to read.

Sample 2: (middle) Out of the 3 this is my favorite because it's fun. You basically have a jersey design that's going to be on a t-shirt! Also, We ALWAYS seem to do blue shirts. Why not yellow? If this is chosen and a blue shirt is our only option than I will reverse the colors. IMO, this ones an eye catcher!

Sample 3: (right) This ones a little bit of everything. I def like it, it has an "event" type look and feel to it. The logo is big, the event name is big and the "Golden State of Mind" name on the circle is an eye catcher. Fans would be getting their moneys worth due to the size of the design!

Let me know what yall think and lets get something final for Chris Murphy asap.

Thanks guys,
Tpsd

Great work, Tony!

My vote in order of preference:

1
3
2

I like the simplicity of 1 & 3 a bit more.

For everyone else who is wondering what's going on: we're aiming for a GSoM Night on March 14 (vs Knicks). I'm just waiting on a final confirmation from our contact with the team before giving out the details.

Looking good! I like 1 then 3, though if the 15 was inside the circle in 3 I might lean that way.

If GSOM Night is on a Saturday it's fall on Slate Night. Maybe cool to do a slate tshirt?

Hey guys,

So it looks like we're leaning with option 3 which is a great option - I modified it with and moved the 15 inside the logo (the 15 below felt like a distraction)

Nate can u present this to Chris for approval.

Thanks guys

Hi guys,

So I talked to Chris about this yesterday and he communicated the following:

1. The number of tickets currently available is 150 200-level seats and 100 standing room seats and *falling* -- the tix are selling even since he and I talked last week.

2. The tix might not be grouped together as they have been in the past (though I believe they haven't been grouped together in the past as one year we split them between 100 & 200 level tix).

3. We have to make a decision if this is something we want to do ASAP in order to even get things going at those numbers.

His concern is that this would make for a smaller, and thus less fun, GSoM Night that could tarnish the brand but would leave it up to us if we wanted to go for this year.

Can you guys let me know your thoughts on this?

My thoughts: Traditionally, GSoM Night has been great as a cheap, big event... but with the way tix are priced/selling these days cheap is out and it just can't be as big. On the flip side, we've pulled it off before without large blocks of the shirts and it has been fine...so 150 or 600 was irrelevant because folks were spread all over the place anyway. And Tony has already made up the shirt design.

Get back to me (or the list) ASAP to let me know if you think we should go ahead with this or wait until next year. I understand Chris' concern but am only doing this to begin with because I've gotten emails from people wanting it....

Just bumping this up again: I'd love some input on this by end of day tomorrow (Friday) so I can confirm things and move forward.

I don’t mind doing this GSOM Night even with all the constraints. I don’t see any of those factors really changing next year.

I do agree though it hurts our huge and affordable event history. Unfortunately I think we’re going to have to live with that if we want to do one in the near future.

I noticed ticket prices in general are up these past 3 seasons but hey, we have a winning product. It is what it is.

Shailo, remember a few years back when we'd sell 8-1000 tix for GSoM night lol.

I'm for it as well and will promote it like a mofo if it's approved.
