Someone is using one of my old GSoM logo concepts and selling it as a shirt...

Hi All,

A few of you might remember this design from 2011:

It was a concept I shared with you and the GSoM community and although it was never used, in my personal opinion I thought it was awesome. The fact that it had a brain infused within a basketball, that was "unique" in my book. 

I was never upset with the logo chosen after (we went with Sleepy's which was a great choice - a clear easy read that worked well!) I did have plans to release my "brain ball" concept in the future unrelated to our group. 

I was on IG and someone is selling my design through their website. Hey, if the person changed it up and redrew their own brain ball its understandable - but they straight ripped my concept off 100% with no changes whatsoever.

The question I have is how do I go about having this person stop selling my concept? It was published on GSoM's website so does SB Nation get involved? Or since it was simply a cpncept design is this something I take care of on my own and possibly hire my own lawyer?

It's frustrating for me because its an idea I came up with and planned out. I just want em; to stop selling something I created from scratch.

Hey Tony,

I don't have a good answer to that, but what I can do, if you don't mind, is forward it to SBN higher-ups and see if the legal team can get involved since it was art originally published on SBN property. 

How does that sound?

That would be great Nate,

I just want to see what options I have since it was published under our GSoM page and since SB Nation owns the rights to the name I don't want to step on any toes. In all honesty I just love the whole brain ball concept regardless if it was used or not, I was real excited of the concept.

The IG user in question is called @flavoredshirt - theres no website info, but they left their contact infor on the Instagram page.
