GSoC Session at IIT - Need for Resource Personnels

Hope you all doing great! A friend of mine contacted me and informed that IIT is interested in hosting a GSoC Awareness session and expecting to get some resource personnels to conduct the session.

Please reply to this thread, if you are willing to be part of it.

I've CCied Dinithi in this email, whom would be your contact person from IIT side.

Can you arrange the GSoC meetup on 24th of Feb 4.00 - 5.30PM ?

I will try to get another resource person with myself. I just checked the timeline and seems like there will be no point of holding a GSoC meetup after march since the students wont have much time to prepare for this year's GSoC. Its pretty much late time of the party apparently :-)

I'm sure Suranga ayya would be the ideal person since he is a IIT graduate and a GSoC all-rounder :-) which is not possible unluckily.

Hi Nirmal Ayya,

We had a successful GSoC meetup yesterday at IIT premises - I tried my best to convince those folks to try GSoC this time.

It was a event with good participation around 50-80 students, wish there were more 3, 4 year student participation but unfortunately most people were 1, 2 guys.
