Student applications for GSoC 2025 open today.
Potential Project Mentors:
If you have other bits you were meaning to add to the ideas list, do it now!
Also, be on the lookout for potential students/contributors reaching out. I had a couple of potential applicants reach out and ask questions about contacting mentors. Google wants us to pay attention to qualification "test" results, issue/bug patches, etc from possible contributors during this period, as well as answering thoughtful questions about the project idea.
Proposals are open till April 8th, and then we'll match mentors and rank contributor project proposals.
