GSoC 2014 - Promotional talk in Neuchâtel

Hi there, 

Wookie did a great job and inspiring step for the event at ETH. As a result, I talked about the event with the dean of my faculty and we want to organize a similar event on this area of Switzerland, for students of our university. In fact, I want to promote the talk among our students from University of Bern and Fribourg (Benefri master network) too. They come frequently to Neuchâtel for their master classes. I may also attract some doctoral students of EPFL labs who collaborate with us.

A temptative schedule for the talk would be some day between 24-28. February since the semester starts on 17.2

It will be of great help if some of you can participate of the event. I will contact you regarding the organization after the new year celebrations.

In addition, I got so enthusiastic about GSoC that I even convinced my lab to apply for GSoC as a mentoring organization. We have a very interesting application for prototyping large-scale distributed applications (SPLAY http://www.splay-project.org/)
