i found this google group when i was searching for gsoc and bangladeshi participants in that program. after reading some of the mails i realized that last activity on this group was like 5 years or so ago.

is there new community forum or something similar or the group just dried off :(

Try the facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/GSoCBD. That's not active as well but it has members and previous GSoC participants. If you ask something you'll probably get replies.
