Just got this from Campy (Dave Camper) after he completed both races in the VA Senior Games (5k TT and 20k RR): Quote Did well. TT 3rd overall 1st in category b/c I stayed in small chain ring not knowing I was in it. Road race 1st overall sprint to finish &I got him by 1/2 bike Unqote I think his meaning in the TT was he rode in the small ring as he was unfamiliar with the route (and it was wet and raining). So he got two golds in his age bracket and in the road race was first over the line in all brackets. Great result as this is a national qualifying year and Virginia is an open state so undoubtedly there were a lot of competitors from multiple states racing trying to qualify for next year's national senior games in Alabama.
