St. Patrick's Parade

I enthusiastically support Jay’s effort for a big turnout of local cyclists for the St. Patrick’s parade. As some of you know the Silver Riders organized local cyclists to participate in the 2013 parade which drew a large number of cyclists. The cycling group was awarded 2nd place in the unit category.
A large number of cyclists participating will draw considerable attention from the thousands of locals who attend the parade and thus make cycling safer in the OBX when they see we’re friends, neighbors, Moms and Dads, grandparents and not a bunch of silly people wearing spandex.
