Notes from Talk

Dear Gainesville Shambhala Group,

Several people at last night's session requested the notes from my
talk. I am attaching the notes to this email. (We will see if Google
Groups allows attachments to go through.)

These are actually notes from a talk by Chokyi Nyima, Rinpoche. Video
and audio versions of the talk are available on his website:

Reminder: Mark you calendars for the Online Talks by Sakyong Mipham,
Rinpoche and Ani Pema Chodron. The presentation will be at Charles and
Suzanne's home. July 18 &19. Begin at Noon. Ending times have not
been announced. Fee $20 (can be waived if needed.)

Thank you Charles - the attachment was present and readable. The speaker
does have a sense of humor and coupled with his skill of English (which is
better than my skill with the Tibetan language!) made for humorous reading.

If you're looking for attendance numbers for 7/18 & 7/19 for planning
purposes, count me in. Remember that I will bring a laptop and a projector
for our viewing pleasure. As soon as you get the link, I would appreciate it
if you could forward it to me so that I may check for any special drivers /
download application requirements. I'd like to get that taken care of ahead
of time and test the system to insure we're good with regard to the
technology. While I am confident of being able to do this, and not one to
worry, I also like to take advantage of preplanning and proper preparation.

Additionally, do you have an internet connection that we can use or shall we
be using my 'aircard'? If it's an internet connection, I have several LONG
network cables (up to 15 feet I believe) that may be of help in the setup
with your current equipment / locations.
