Consultation on Archer Academy admission criteria

Dear 4S parents,

You may have seen in the newsletter that there is currently a consultation regarding admission criteria and the possibility of guaranteering a certain amount of places to children from Garden Suburb Junior School to the Archer Academy. 

It is very important that Garden Suburb School gets heard at that consultation. Even if you are not considering sending your child to the Archer Academy, please consider filling in the questionnaire for the school community’s benefit. Archer Academy is for some parents one of the only viable secondary options, and the result this consultation will make the difference between someone from GSS getting a place or not.

There is also a meeting taking place at Archer today, Monday 11th January at 7pm. It’s very late notice but please go and show your support if you can.
