Site-Crawler + Google SiteMap creator has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I have been using GSiteCrawler and I love it. Then all of a sudden I
got a message the database was too big - so I compacted it. While
compacting I got a message it needed to shup down. Then I started
getting the error message aove.

I did a repair and it said it was downloading a newer version, but I
am still getting the above message - help! I want to continue to use
this wonderful tool

I would copy the project folder somewhere else and then uninstall the
program completely.
Download a fresh version and install it again.

The add back your projects into it one by one. Crawl each one and
generate sitemaps as needed.

So for every time you encounter that message you need to re-install
the program? That's kind of tedious isn't it. I have see this issue
arise more and more since I've upgraded to the newest version you have
available. Most of the time it will install 2 GSite Crawler instead of
overwriting or removing one before installing the other.

Compacting the database doesn't seem to work anymore either. Any plans
on fixing these issues with future upgrades?

Thanks.

Well no, but since it's gotten corrupted somehow, then that's one possible
way to solve it.
It's never happened to me.
